K Camp and his Rare Sound team drop the visuals for his “Save Me” freestyle. Camp and his Rare Sound artist True Story Gee freestyle over Meek Mill’s track “Save Me.” In the visual, the team takes viewers around Atlanta as they go to the studio and mob out in the streets.
“Pray to God, I ain’t gotta be broke no more/No, I ain’t tryna see my folks on T-shirts no more/This rap money comin’ in, don’t need work no more/And I done felt so much pain, it don’t hurt no more,” raps True Story Gee.
“Save Me” freestyle was actually done because of a fan’s request. When the former XXL Freshman received a message from a fan asking the artist to rap over the instrumental, K Camp couldn’t say no. “One of my fans DM’ed me and said they wanted to hear me on the beat, so I hopped on with True Story Gee—the artist I just signed—and the rest is history,” he told XXL through email. “For the video we had Rare Sound (K Camp, True Story Gee, DJ Genius, Bobby Kritikal and Musik Majorx) in our natural element in the city.”
